Cookie policy
Last updated September 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technology this website uses, and how to control them. We ask your permission before using anything that is not strictly necessary.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technology, such as local storage, works in much the same way. In this policy we call all of it cookies.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Always on, because the site cannot work properly without them. They do not track you across other websites.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
xpatic_consent | Remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask on every page. | Until you clear it or we change our categories |
payd_attr | Remembers which link or advert brought you here, and a random visit ID we use to count how many people reach each step of our enquiry form. It is only used by us and is never shared with advertising platforms. | Until you clear it |
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people use and how they move through the site. It only sets its cookies (_ga and _ga_*, kept for up to two years) if you allow analytics. If you don't, it runs in a restricted mode that sets no cookies and sends Google only basic, anonymous measurements, such as a page being viewed.
Advertising
Only with your permission. These let advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Microsoft and X measure which adverts brought people to our site, and show relevant adverts to people who have visited. Those platforms may set their own cookies, which are covered by their own privacy policies. They only load after you allow them.
Your choices
When you first visit, you can accept all cookies, reject all of them, or choose by category. Rejecting leaves only the strictly necessary cookies, which is why there is no separate "essential only" option. You can change your mind at any time:
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site, including the enquiry form, may not work properly.
